Introduction

Before Teqtivity, the team was tracking thousands of loaned or leased assets through a combination of their MDM and various Google Sheets. Unfortunately, neither provided a unified or accurate picture of their IT assets.

Cole shared, “We didn’t really have a certain place where you could go in and look at everything—it was all different sheets and Google Docs.”

Customizable Workflows to Track Devices From Deployment to Return

    With Teqtivity, Cole gained an accurate and complete view of all of Teesnap’s assets across locations in one dashboard as opposed to flipping through an MDM and sheets to track devices. One of the biggest operational pains Cole faced at Teesnap was ensuring that no devices were being lost, and that was solved after they onboarded Teqtivity.  

    “[Before] it was always hard to track which asset was supposed to be coming back. Now I can see exactly which one is in transit and which one should be returned. I don’t have to guess anymore,” says Cole. 

    Every touchpoint with a device—from deployment to return—now starts and ends in Teqtivity. Cole was also able to customize Teqtivity to fit his organization’s needs, eliminating unnecessary steps from his previous ITAM workflow. 

    As a result, this eliminated weeks of back-and-forth with customers and reduced the number of lost devices.

    “Now, if a customer says ‘I don’t owe you an iPad,’ I can pull up the exact device and proof. That conversation is over in seconds…[Our ITAM is] almost bulletproof now. Unless a customer loses a device, we can’t lose it anymore.”

    The platform has helped Teesnap standardize its ITAM processes, as well as identify and eliminate losses.

    Integrations with Existing Tools

      Teqtivity integrates out-of-box with dozens of necessary tools, ranging from HR, help desk, procurement and more. Teesnap has benefited from these integrations to further centralize and automate its ITAM processes. 

      With over 2,000 devices shipped annually, the Teesnap team heavily relies on Teqtivity’s integrations with Shipstation and UPS. Additionally, Cole is saving hours of manual updates because status changes are automatically updated with the integration. 

      Cole said: “I used to have to look up orders in ShipStation, click the tracking link, and go to the carrier site. Now I see all the tracking info right on the Teqtivity dashboard. It’s amazing.”

      Teqtivity’s integration with HubSpot Ticketing has also given Cole further insight into the device history. With such integration, he can gain insight into clients’ tickets linked to devices, providing context for every action without having to dig through records.  

      “You can’t remember everything. But now [with the Hubspot integration] I click on the device, see the ticket, and instantly know what issue it had and why it was replaced. It’s been great.”

      With these integrations, Teesnap is able to reduce its manual processes for tracking devices, resulting in accurate records on all of its devices.

        From contract signing to full implementation, the entire process to implement Teqtivity took less than four weeks. Cole also shares that the learning curve was low because Teqtivity’s dashboard is straightforward and easy to navigate. 

        “[Implementation] was seamless. Honestly, I expected a lot more work on my end. But [Teqtivity] handled everything, uploaded the data, configured the workflows, it was super quick.”

        Support didn’t stop after Teesnap went live. Through a dedicated Slack channel, the team has access to Teqtivity experts who can help with questions and requests in a timely manner.

        “Support’s been great. The Slack channel makes everything so easy. Someone always replies, even just to say, ‘We’re on it.’ That goes a long way.”
