How Teqtivity + Ivanti Works

Daily Sync
Teqtivity and Ivanti sync data daily, ensuring that both platforms are always up-to-date with the latest asset information, device status, and compliance data. This provides a single source of truth for IT asset management

Automated Asset Creation
When a device is enrolled in Ivanti, Teqtivity automatically creates an asset record, capturing key details such as serial number, make, model, and specifications. This eliminates the need for manual asset entry and ensures accurate inventory tracking from the start.

User Assignment
Ivanti tracks the last logged-in user for each device and syncs this data with Teqtivity. This allows Teqtivity to assign the device to the correct user, ensuring that asset ownership records are always up to date and minimizing errors in user-device assignments.

Discrepancy Report
Teqtivity flags discrepancies between Ivanti and its own data, such as mismatches in asset status or compliance issues. IT teams are alerted to these discrepancies so they can take corrective action, whether through automated workflows or manual review.

• Devices Not Created: Teqtivity flags devices unmatched with employee emails in Ivanti for review.
• User Discrepancy: Teqtivity flags devices assigned to one user in Ivanti but logged in by another. Reassignments can be automated. Devices may also marked as in storage but logged into recently in Ivanti can be reassigned to the logged-in user after IT verification.
• Inactive Devices: Devices assigned but unused for over 10 days require IT investigation. Automation is not available without more context.
• Unmanaged Devices: Devices assigned in Teqtivity but missing from Ivanti need compliance and syncing verification.

Status Updates: Teqtivity continuously syncs with Ivanti to ensure that device statuses are accurate. If a device moves from “stored” to “assigned,” this change is automatically reflected in Teqtivity based on Ivanti’s data. This ensures consistent device tracking across the organization.
